Description: The prestigious Zhongguancun West Zone project basement waterproofing was awarded to Penetron after the decision makers had a chance to visit multiple projects treated with the Penetron system in Beijing, and were amply convinced of its effectiveness.

Initially, it was decided to use Penetron only on part of this huge basement structure, with another part being specified for treatment with a membrane system. During the course of the project, however, the membrane treated areas started leaking at the seams, whereas the Penetron treated areas had dried up completely. As such, the developer intervened and decided that part of the membrane treated areas were to removed and replaced with the Penetron system as well. Several other upcoming projects by this same developer are now specified with the Penetron waterproofing system.
