CASE STUDY -
AIRPORT FOCUS |
Changi Airport Terminal 3, Singapore |
|
Singapore's
award winning Changi Airport, built on reclaimed land, had its entire Terminal 3 substructure
treated using
PENETRON ®
ADMIX and
other components of the Penetron®
System, such as Penetron®
slurry and Penecrete mortar.
The
crack bridging abilities of the Penetron®
System have been superbly demonstrated
on this project. After the screeds were removed, the Terminal 3 team was able to
witness first hand the effectiveness of
PENETRON®
ADMIX and see how leaking
cracks dried up in a matter of days. The success on the project and the
performance of the Penetron® System resulted in a strong
recommendation by the Vice President of the Airport Development Division of
CPG consultants.

Warsaw
Airport, Poland |
Penetron®
has been selected as the main waterproofing system in the
construction of Terminal II at the Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport in Poland.
The new terminal, which began construction in 2004 will take 2 years to
complete and extends the operating capacity of the airport to 10 million
passengers per annum. Since starting the project, over 30,000 m³ of concrete slab
have been waterproofed with
PENETRON®

treated with Penetron®. The projected total area to be waterproofed should total

After
having had extremely positive results with Penetron on similar projects in the
Correggio area, the general building contractor AREA PREFABBRICATI proposed

Establishing
a Reputation for Quality & Service In Australia |
With so many successful projects under its belt, Penetron®
is establishing a
reputation for quality and service in Australia. Here is a selection of recent
projects that have helped to solidify this position:
Hanna and
Hone Constructions required a
waterproofing system to be applied in a building basement car park, lift pits and
retaining walls. They selected
PENETRON®
ADMIX
as the solution that met their
selection criteria of cost-effectiveness, performance and reliability. Hanna and
Hone have peace of mind knowing that the waterproofing is performing for these
critical areas below the water table and that the waterproofing is guaranteed
for 10 years.
Southern Cross Constructions made the decision to put
PENETRON®
ADMIX
to the test
after an alternative waterproofing admixture had underperformed.
After successfully waterproofing the swimming pool and detention tanks, Southern
Cross Constructions then specified that Penetron be used on other critical areas
of their projects.
PHP & MYM Constructions needed to repair a leaking lift pit. They turned to the
Penetron®
System to reseal the leaking joint and were so impressed with the
performance that they specified the system on other parts of the job as well.
Jabbour Developments trialed Penetron against two alternative admixtures
on transfer decks.
PENETRON®
ADMIX
was the only solution that performed according
to the specifications, and was subsequently selected for the job. |
