A-370 Amur Bay Bridge

Description

The low-lying beam bridge spanning Amur Bay is a four-lane highway that connects the De Friz and Muravyov Amurskiy Islands with Vladivostok. Construction of the bridge was completed in time for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting, held in Vladivostok in 2012.


Products Used

The concrete structural elements of the 4.3 km (2.5 mile) long bridge were treated with PENETRON crystalline materials to provide resistance to chloride penetration from the salt water.
