Description
Irkutsk, Siberia’s largest city is divided by the Angara River. The Irkutsk Bridge is 1,625m (5,360 feet) long and 32m (106 feet) wide, and a key part of the city’s transport infrastructure. Construction work on the bridge was conducted in harsh climatic conditions; in-situ pre-stressed reinforced concrete was used.
