Biblioteca Brasiliana Guita e José Mindlin
Sao Paulo, Brazil
The Guita & José Mindlin Library in Brazil houses an important collection of books donated to the University of São Paulo by José Mindlin, a Brazilian lawyer, businessperson and bibliophile. This collection of more than 38,000 books is the largest in Latin America. The library building constructed to house this massive (and growing) collection is equipped with biometric devices, cameras, temperature and lighting control to help preserve and protect the collection that includes countless rare books.
PENETRON ADMIX was used to treat all the concrete in the ceiling, walls and slab foundation to ensure reduced permeability of the concrete and a durable structure.
