Connected to the Chennai Airport, the new metro station offers five terminals, including a basement, ground floor, metro floor, concourse, and a platform spread over 17,300 square meters. The Chennai Airport is the second in the country to be connected to a metro station.

To keep the production schedule on time, the contractors of the project chose the PENETRON System. A combination of PENETRON ADMIX added into concrete and PENEBAR SW-45 to seal construction joints increased the projects durability.
