Description

As the largest airport in South America (currently about 30 million passengers/ year), the Guarulhos International Airport just outside of São Paulo is undergoing major infrastructure upgrades. A wholly new terminal – Terminal 3 – will be completed for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, increasing the airport’s capacity by 12 million passengers / year. By the time all projects are completed, the Guarulhos International Airport will have a total capacity of 60 million passengers / year.


Products Used

In the main building of Terminal 3, PENETRON ADMIX was used to treat 25,000m3of basement slab to improve concrete durability and protect against water penetration. PENEBAR SW-55 was used to seal the concrete joints.
