Description
The new ice palace in Almaty will be the largest sport venue for the upcoming Winter World Students Games in 2017 and the largest arena in Kazakhstan. The Ice Palace will have two arenas for 12,000 seats and 475 seats, as well as a swimming pool. The Palace will offer the option to transform the ice rinks into playgrounds, boxing rings and performance stages.

PENETRON has a factory in Kazakhstan that has become the supplier of the waterproofing system for the giant Ice Arena. Over 56,000 tons of concrete were used for the major building. PENETRON ADMIX was used in a concrete mix for the water fire reservoirs.
