Description
The Irkutsk aluminum smelter, with an annual output of 412,600 tons, is one of the largest facilities in Russia. A US$ 600 million modernization project resulted in a 166,000 ton increase in production capacity and a considerable reduction in emissions. With 3,000 people working there, the facility also produces silicon.
Products Used
Over 3.000 cubic meters of concrete were treated with PENETRON ADMIX to help ensure impermeability of the structure without the use of additional waterproofing materials.
