Description
The Avenida Kennedy is a key traffic artery for the Santiago Centro East area – and also prone to chronic congestion. A new infrastructure project installed a 255-meter (840-feet) long tunnel at the intersection of the Kennedy and Américo Vespucio Avenues.
Products Used
A PENETRON ADMIX-enhanced Shotcrete (PAES) mix was applied on the interior surfaces of the tunnel walls to quickly waterproof the interior and prevent any water penetration of the construction site – and also ensure a permanently dry structure.
