First opened in 1907 and the oldest hydroelectric power plant in Poland, the Leśna facility on the Kwisa River produces up to 2.7 MW. The dam is 45 m (148 feet) high and the width at the crest is 130 m (427 feet); the resulting reservoir has an area of about 140 hectares (346 acres).
Despite its age, the Leśna dam was completely renovated with the application of PENETRON crystalline topical materials. About 1,000 kilos (2,204 lbs.) of PENETRON repair material and 750 kilos (1,653 lbs.) of PENECRETE MORTAR were used.
