Description
Bologna University, one of the oldest universities in Europe, was founded in 1088 and has recently been undergoing permanent upgrades and reconstruction. A student residence was built in 2020 which occupies 11,000 square meters, offering: 400 rooms, underground parking, an indoor swimming pool, a bar, a restaurant, a gym, and public study spaces. The hotel is opened to the public and tourists as well.

After reviewing a range of waterproofing solutions, the Penetron System was used to waterproof and protect underground structures. PENETRON ADMIX was added to approximately 4,000 m3 of concrete.
