Third Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge

Description

The Third Nanjing Yangtze Bridge is the first of its kind in Nanjing and one of the longest cable-stayed bridges in the world. The $490 million project features two 215 m (710 feet) high towers; the bridge is 1,288m (4,226 feet) long, 37.5 m (123 feet) wide, and the longest span measures 648 m (2,126 feet). It carries the G42 Shanghai–Chengdu Expressway and the G2501 Nanjing Ring Expressway.


Products Used

The PENETRON System of crystalline products was used to treat the concrete pillars and concrete deck of the bridge to ensure a durable and waterproof structure.
