Łódź Wastewater Treatment Plant
Category: Water Treatment & Storage
One of the largest and newest wastewater treatment plants in Poland, the Łódź facility cleans 51% of all sewage generated in the Lodz district, the third-largest metro area in Poland. Investments in new cleaning technologies and equipment began a thorough renovation of the plant.
To ensure impermeability of all concrete structures in the plant against water and aggressive chemicals, all basins in the wastewater treatment plant were treated with 30,000 kilos (66,140 lbs.) of PENETRON crystalline repair material and 2,000 kilos (4,410 lbs.) of PENECRETE MORTAR.
