Beach Towers Stand Tall on PENETRON

USA

With the initial phase of construction using PENETRON crystalline concrete technology completed this month, the Paraiso Bay project now moves to the first two of four residential luxury towers. This remarkable development, outsized even for Miami, is designed by Arquitectonica, an international architecture and urban planning company in Miami.

Located on Biscayne Bay in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood, the Paraiso Bay project, once completed, will be home to 1,300 luxury apartments. Each of the four 55-floor towers has 325 units, ranging from 1,000 square feet (92 m2) to 2,500 square feet (232 m2) in size, each with a private elevator and direct bay views of South Beach.

SUPERIOR TO CONVENTIONAL SOLUTIONS

The project’s first two towers are scheduled to come online later this year, with all four towers ready for their owners by 2017. The Paraiso Bay will have a beach club (500 feet of the property face Biscayne Bay) with swimming pools and tennis courts, as well as two acres of parks and green space.

SOLUBLE BAGS FOR EASY DOSAGE

The integrated admixture, PENETRON ADMIX SB (in soluble bags), was added to the concrete during batching. The soluble bag packaging provided a quick and accurate dosage form, which also saved time. The treated concrete was used for the matt foundations of the towers, including several elevator pits.
