Description
The California Aquarium is one of the top tourist attractions in the U.S.A. and has a high circulation of fresh ocean water pumped in through pipes from Monterey Bay. The aquarium has a 10 meter (33-foot) high 333,000- gallon (1,260,000l) tank and a larger 1,200,000-gallon (4,500,000l) tank. More than 1.8 million people visit the aquarium annually.
