The Kungens Kurva store in Stockholm is IKEA’s largest Swedish retail outlet. With continued growth in the retail business, a sizeable expansion of the parking facility added an additional three-floor parking garage with 14,600 m2 (157,153 square feet) of space.
Products Used
The construction design called for concrete modules to be poured and installed at the job site. These modules were installed as 17-meter suspended steel formwork floor slabs; about 4,500 m3 (5,886 cubic yards) of concrete were treated with PENETRON ADMIX.
