Description
This project created a completely new diplomatic quarter on a greenfield site in Nur-Sultan, the capital of Kazakhstan. Today, the area comprises around 50 separate buildings, including a reception hall, two luxury hotels and 45 residences to accommodate diplomats and their families. Located in the left-bank of the Ishim River close to the Presidential Palace, the quarter is home to diplomats (and their families) from dozens of countries and the representative embassies and offices.
Products Used
Because of Nur-Sultan’s extreme climate, the Penetron Kazakhstan team worked closely with the project engineers to provide an optimal waterproofing and durability solution. PENETRON ADMIX was specified for the project’s concrete slabs and basement structures to ensure durable structures.
