Description
Ocean City, a town built entirely of wood, now also has a new wastewater treatment plant. A good sewer system, is of fundamental importance to a health resort like Ocean City. Without proper drainage or disposition of waste, good health is almost out of the question. An additional secondary clarifier was built at the wastewater treatment plant to enable the WWTP to maintain compliance with effluent standards.
Products Used
Due to wear and corrosion, the old unit needed to be replaced. A new unit protects downstream equipment from grit and sand. The new unit also increases the capacity of the treatment plant to 16 MGD. PENETRON ADMIX SB was used to treat precast and cast in place concrete elements for the expansion of the Ocean City WWTP.
