Only a five-minute walk from the Arizona State University campus, the luxury student housing complex comprises two five-story buildings connected via a sky bridge. Park Place Tempe features 285 units (782 beds), with one- to four-bedroom layouts (390-1,177 square feet). In addition to a long list of outdoor/indoor amenities, the ground floor has 8,723 square feet of retail space for cafés, restaurants and shops. Also included in the complex are 496 underground parking spaces. The construction was LEED-certified.
Products Used
About 2,000 yds3 (1530 m3) of concrete were treated with PENETRON ADMIX SB for the below-grade cistern, the underground parking garage, and basement structures. PENETRON, a topical crystalline material, and PENECRETE MORTAR, a waterproof grout, were used in combination to patch the tie-holes to complete the Penetron System.
