Description
The Shiyan Utility Tunnel project contains 22 tunnels and is a total length of 53.3 km (174,870 feet). The tunnel is located 12 meters below ground level which has contributed to increased levels of ground water. The tunnel was considered an extremely challenging projects due to the complex terrain of Shiyan city.
Products Used
PENETRON ADMIX was used to replace the failing membrane previously installed. PENETRON ADMIX will protect the concrete structure for the life span of the concrete and contains self-healing properties to protect against future cracking.
