Description
The new home of the Supreme Electoral Council in Ankara is built on a 1,500m2 (16,500 square feet) footprint. The below-grade concrete structures include three basement floors and walls at a subterranean level where considerable groundwater was encountered.
Products Used
PENETRON ADMIX was added to over 2000 m3 (2,600 cubic yards) of concrete for the foundation slab and all basement walls, and PENEBAR SW-55 waterstop (1,500 m / 5,000 feet) was installed in the resulting construction joints by Techart, the Penetron dealer in Ankara. PENETRON topical material and PENECRETE MORTAR were also applied by Techart to the tie rod holes and for small repairs.
