Description
With a population of over 1.3 million, the city of Thessalonica needed to significantly expand and upgrade the city’s sewage treatment capabilities. A new treatment plant was built to provide additional processing of the wastewater.
Products Used
The PENETRON System was specified for treatment of all concrete structures in the new plant; the PENETRON topical crystalline waterproofing material was applied with a high-pressure spray gun. The total area of treated concrete is approximately 10,000 m2 (107,640 square feet).
