Description
Yankton’s new treatment facility now allows the city to stop using treated surface water from the Missouri River. The plant helps deal with trihalomethanes (THMs) compliance levels caused by the chlorination process, where chlorine reacts with organic matter. This often occurs in greater abundance with river water due to recurring spring flooding.
Products Used
The concrete sewage treatment tanks and walls of the wastewater treatment plant were treated with PENETRON ADMIX to ensure waterproof and durable concrete structures.
