PENETRON ADMIX Tracer
Making invisible crystalline technology visible
PENETRON ADMIX is used in construction projects around the world every day. Our ADMIX Tracer signals that genuine PENETRON ADMIX is in the mix. It’s a guarantee of durable quality and peerless crystalline technology.
-
Readily visible in the bleed water after the concrete pour
-
Color dissipates – does not discolor concrete
-
Zero environmental impact (COMPLETELY NON-TOXIC); NSF61-certified
-
No effect on the plastic or hardened concrete properties
-
Does not affect performance of PENETRON ADMIX
Reliable identification tool
The PENETRON ADMIX Tracer is unique in the industry – a result of discussions with the engineering and design community looking for a reliable identification control tool for their projects. Phosphorescent when mixed with water and placed under UV light, the ADMIX Tracer is bright enough to be seen with the naked eye under normal viewing wavelengths (regular daylight).
The indicator present in every soluble bag of PENETRON ADMIX shows up as a clearly visible tracer in the bleed water when mixed into a batch of fresh concrete – and disappears when the concrete dries.
Green today, gone tomorrow: ADMIX Tracer in the bleed water of the South Cobb Tunnel; once the water evaporates, the ADMIX Tracer disappears.
Tracer color dissipates: This close-up of the Modera Coral Gables project in Miami FL, U.S.A. shows the ADMIX Tracer; the concrete is not discolored.
“Our tell-tale ADMIX Tracer has become a clear sign of our ongoing efforts to ensure a high level of performance and quality, regardless of the individual project challenges,” says Christopher Chen, Director of The PENETRON Group. “If any further proof was needed, demand for the PENETRON ADMIX continues to grow around the world at an almost exponential rate.”
Readily visible during the concrete pour: This lab shot of the ADMIX Tracer shows how the color of the ADMIX Tracer phosphoresces under UV light. The Tracer can vary in intensity, depending on job site conditions, how the bleed water puddles, weather (rainfall, etc.) and other project conditions.
Completely safe for drinking water: Both the ADMIX Tracer and PENETRON ADMIX are completely non-toxic (NSF61-certified) and can be used for potable water and environmentally sensitive applications.
Zero environmental impact: The Huachipa-Ramal plant in Lima, Peru benefitted from the non-toxic properties of PENETRON ADMIX. The plant is the largest potable water treatment facility in Latin America, supplying water and sanitation services to 2.4 million people.
