Description
Operating since 1908 as a production site for cementitious materials, the Chanute, Kansas plant is one of 12 Ash Grove facilities in North America. The facility upgrade included a repair and expansion of the concrete structures of the plant’s steel tanks used to store hazardous materials.
Products Used
PENETRON ADMIX SB was added to the concrete mix used to rebuild and enlarge new spill containment structures surrounding the hazardous materials tanks. The waterproofing admixture provides resistance to chemical attack and prevents concrete deterioration.
