The Benua Museum, originally built in the late 19th century as a stately residence, was designed by Alexander Benua, a well-known Russian architect who completed many buildings in the St. Petersburg area. The renovation of this historic building included a comprehensive upgrade of the leaking basement structures.
The PENETRON system, including PENETRON crystalline waterproofing material and PENECRETE MORTAR for crack repairs, was applied to stop and prevent any further below-ground water penetration.
