Description
Owned by OAO Amurskaya Generatsiya, the three power units of the Blagoveshchensk facility were brought online in 1978-1984. Unit 1 has an output of 60 mW, and Units 2 and 3 provide 100 mW each. Construction of the fourth power unit, a 120 mW, $200 million coal-fired plant, was carried out in parallel to a total reconstruction of the thermal plant.
Products Used
PENETRON ADMIX was used to treat the concrete for the new fourth power unit to ensure a durable concrete structure needed for the relatively harsh climate of the Amur region. PENETRON crystalline repair materials, along with PENECRETE MORTAR were used to rehabilitate the previous concrete structures of the existing power units.
