One of ten departments of Thailand’s Ministry of Finance, the Budget Bureau moved into new headquarters, a 30-floor office tower on Phaholyothin Road in the northern part of Bangkok. Faced with the high groundwater conditions typical for the whole Bangkok region, the department needed a reliable waterproofing solution for the three below-grade basement floors.
Products Used
PENETRON topical crystalline waterproofing treatment was used for the foundation slab and basement floors and walls of the below-grade structures. PENESEAL PRO, a spray-on liquid sealer that seals hairline cracks and protects concrete against water penetration, was applied to the roof deck and water storage tank.
