A leading supplier of fiberglass reinforcements and fabrics, China Jushi USA established its first manufacturing operation in North America in South Carolina in 2019. The new “intelligent” facility, with an 80,000-ton production line, supplies a growing composite material industry in the USA.
Products Used
Gray Construction, the project designer and contractor, asked Penetron to ensure concrete durability for the 660,135 square foot (60,015 m2) facility’s 6" reinforced slab on grade and basement structures. PENETRON ADMIX was specified for the concrete and supplied by Concrete Supply Company. Over 5,000 cubic yards (3,823 m2) of concrete was used in the construction of the foundation slabs and walls.
