Despite the interruptions during the 2020 pandemic, the numerous road construction and modernization projects in the Dagestan Republic, of the North Caucasus region, continued apace. Most of the roads in Dagestan either traverse mountains or stretch along the Caspian Sea coastline. The construction, determined by the rugged landscape and the proximity of the sea and mountainous rivers, is costly and time consuming.
Penetron Russia supplied the needed Penetron materials for a range of road building projects in the Republic. PENETRON was used to secure the retaining walls of the road in Gasik Village. PENETRON was also used to protect drainage canals in the reconstruction of the Makhachkala-Kizilyurt section of the Caucasus Highway.
