Egnatia Highway Bridge

Thessaloniki, Greece

Description

The Egnatia Odos, completed in 2009, was built largely along the route of an ancient Roman road and is a key part of the European E90 highway system stretching from Istanbul (Turkey) to Italy. It forms the backbone of the transport system traversing Northern Greece from east to west and connects the country with its Balkan neighbors.
