This US$89 million expansion project included expansion of the Jeddah mills facility’s head houses that are used to manage the silos (total current silo capacity is 140,000 metric tons).
Products Used
Located only 50 m (165 feet) from the Red Sea shore, both of the head houses needed a completely impermeable concrete matrix for their below-ground foundations, each about 20 m (65 feet) deep. PENETRON ADMIX was added to the concrete mix to waterproof the concrete.
