Description
The expansion and renovation of GM’s Marion Metal Center plant added 6,000 ft2 (545 m2) to its 2.7 million-ft2 (245,454-m2) Indiana campus. Two new press lines, a complete press, and die upgrades were added. The plant provides blanks, stampings, and sheet metal assembly to GM assembly plants throughout North America – supporting the company’s plans to increase electric vehicle production.
