Guita & José Mindlin Library

The Guita & José Mindlin Library in Brazil houses an important collection of books (the largest in Latin America) from José Mindlin, a Brazilian lawyer, businessperson and bibliophile. This collection, with over 38,000 books, collection was donated to the University of São Paulo. The library building constructed to house this massive (and growing) collection is equipped with biometric devices, cameras, temperature and lighting control to help preserve and protect the collection that includes countless rare books.
PENETRON ADMIX was used to treat all the concrete in the ceiling, walls and slab foundation to ensure reduced permeability of the concrete and a durable structure.
