Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant

Description

Two VVER-1000 reactors are operational at the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant, each generating 1000 MW (net) of electricity. Construction of the reactors was completed in 2004 and currently there are two more VVER- 1000 reactors under construction. They are expected to be completed in 2018 and 2020 respectfully. Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant is the start of the 750kV-powerline Widelka-Khmelnytskyi, one of three 750 kV lines running from Ukraine to the European border.


Products Used

The PENETRON System was applied on the concrete structures of the wastewater pumping stations. The PENETRON System has proved its durability being used for repair purposes and is planned to be used on the concrete structures of the ongoing construction of new reactors.
