Leichardt Green Community

Leichardt (Sydney), Australia

Description

The $95 million Leichhardt Green urban community was developed by Greenland Australia and designed by Bates Smart, an award-winning architectural and interior design firm. The project features five residential buildings with 287 apartment units that range from four to nine floors in height, as well as one-and-a-half levels of below-grade parking. The residential buildings are connected by pedestrian walkways and configured around a central courtyard. The ground floors offer a number of retail and small multifunctional spaces.

Products Used

Due to contaminated soil encountered at the construction site, the engineers at SCP Consultants specified PENETRON ADMIX to treat over 12,000 m3 of concrete, delivered by Hanson, the concrete supplier. The enhanced concrete mix was used to waterproof the basement car park slabs under the residential towers.
