Products Used

Initially, PENETRON INJECT, a crystalline-based two-component injection grout with integral waterproofing capabilities, was injected to fill hollow spots and seal deeply embedded voids and add stability and strength to repaired areas. Next, a topical application of PENETRON, a cementitious integral crystalline waterproofing slurry, was completed on the underside of the grandstand structures, over the passageway, and on all exposed concrete surfaces. Once applied, the active ingredients in PENETRON created a non-soluble crystalline formation throughout the pores and capillary tracts of the concrete. This enhances the impermeability and restores the passivating alkalinity of the structural concrete.
