Phase 1 of the North Austin Complex, includes a nine-floor, 406,000-ft2 office building, a seven-level parking structure to accommodate 1,866 vehicles, and a central utility plant. The ground floor of the office building contains conference rooms and the upper floors contain office space with attractive views of downtown Austin.
The proximity of Triangle Pond and Waller Creek – the contractor specified a durable waterproofing solution for the below-grade concrete structures, mainly the elevator pits and the retaining walls. Centex Materials added PENETRON ADMIX SB, in soluble bags, to the concrete mix during batching.
