Description
Nucor, a multi-national manufacturer of steel and steel products with operations in the United States, Canada and Mexico, recently completed a modernization and expansion project at its Crawfordsville plant in Indiana (USA). Located adjacent to the existing Nucor steel mill, the new state-of-the-art facility will help the company meet growing demand for electrification by supporting the modernization of utility infrastructure, renewable energy systems, EV charging networks, and grid hardening.
Products Used
The project comprised the construction of a galvanizing line and a pre-paint line. PENETRON ADMIX SB was used to treat around 8000 yds3 (6,120 m3) of concrete for the foundation slab and below-grade manufacturing pits.
