The Palace of the Parliament is the seat of the Parliament of Romania. Located on Spirii Hill in central Bucharest, the Palace is the world's largest civilian building with 1,100 rooms. It is 12 stories tall and also features eight additional underground levels. It also houses numerous museums. The water tanks within the palace, built in the 1980s, urgently needed to be renovated due to widespread leaks in the tanks and drain pipes.
