Description
The Pervouralsk New Pipe Manufacturing facility was expanded to allow the production of bigger pipes and pipe products – large diameter (1,420 mm) pipes up to 1.35 tons and stretching up to 18-20 m (59-66 feet) in length. The pipes are also coated on both the inside and outside surfaces using an innovative technology new to Russia. The total cost of the expansion project was about US $ 880 million.
