Description
A stop on the Oʻzbekiston Line of the Tashkent Metro, the Tinchlik station connects the northwestern districts of the city with the city center and the eastern districts. The station is ornately decorated with stained glass walls, marble columns topped with illuminating lamps and crystal chandeliers in the ceiling. Built over 25 years ago, the tunnel vaults developed leaks that needed attention.
Products Used
The PENETRON System was applied to eliminate water penetrating through the construction joints of the tunnel vaults that had been leaking for some time. The crystal growth of the PENETRON products became an integral part of the concrete reducing the permeability and leaks of Tinchlik’s concrete structures.
